Everything You Need to Know About Renting With Confidence

Securing Your Property

To secure a property, we collect a one-week holding deposit. This sum contributes towards the full five-week deposit required when you move into the property.

My letting team use a reputable referencing company that provides rental guarantees on all our properties.

Submitting Your Offer

Once the holding deposit is paid, your offer is submitted to the Landlord. Most offers are accepted, allowing you to proceed with the application. If the Landlord declines your offer, the holding deposit will be fully refunded.

Referencing Requirements

All applicants must submit references within 48 hours of placing the holding deposit. Our requirements are as follows:

  • Two forms of ID (e.g., passport and driving licence)
  • 3 Payslips
  • 3 Bank Statements
  • Self-employed individuals need an accountant's letter and end-of-year certificate
  • Landlord and Employee references
  • Students must provide a guarantor, including standard referencing documents from the guarantor

My team will process your documents on the same day and inform you of their acceptance.

Completing Contracts and Moving In

Before moving into the property, you must sign the contracts and pay the remaining balance. This includes the full five-week deposit (minus the holding deposit) and one month's rent in advance. Afterwards, we'll schedule the collection of your keys so you can move into your new home.
